: Health Tip: If Teeth Are Sensitive

Posted December 19, 2015
(HealthDay News) -- Loss of enamel often leads sensitive teeth, which may be painful.
If your pearly whites are sensitive, the Mayo Clinic says you should avoid:
- Foods and beverages that are higher in acid, such as soda, and citrus fruits and drinks.
- Wine and yogurt, which also may be acidic.
- Brushing and flossing teeth too vigorously.
- Bleaching your teeth.
- Using an abrasive toothpaste.
